Here's The Program:

Day 1-
The group will assemble at the train station in Grenoble, and we’
ll shuttle to our home in Les Deux Alpes.  You can spread out and get
comfortable, as we’ll be in the same hotel for all 5 nights of this tour and
we won’t have any hotel transfers!  After check-in we’ll do bike fitting
and a short orientation ride.  Before our first group dinner we’ll have a
welcome cocktail and a toast to a super TdF Alps week.
Day 2- Today is a rest day for the
Tour riders, but not for TEAM BV.
Today we’ll warm up the famous
Alp d’Huez for the riders before
tomorrow’s finish.  At the top you’ll
be able to purchase lots of
souvenir merchandise to
remember your conquest in the
future.  Those who aren’t up to
such an HC challenge (hors
categorie in French, or out of
category climb) can either ride
around in the valley or walk part-
way up the mountain to get a feel
for the terrain the riders will be
racing over.  You can also pick out
a spot to view the race from
tomorrow.  Back to our hotel
where another great French
cuisine experience awaits.
Day 3- Today we'll get on our bikes directly from the hotel and
ride once again toward cycling’s hallowed ground, the Alp d’
Huez.  We'll have a viewing spot with shade tent set up, or you
can find a good location to see this uphill finish.  This stage
may well decide the eventual winner of the Tour.  Tonight you're
on your own for dinner, and you can discover a cozy restaurant,
or we'll be happy to offer suggestions.
Day 4- Today the Tour riders tackle their second Alps stage.  Depending on the exact roads that
the Tour committee decides to use, we’ll either view the Tour early in the stage or later on, as the
route is essentially a large loop that begins and ends not too far from our hotel.  In any case we’ll
get in some more excellent riding with the magnificent Alps as a backdrop.  Another great group
dinner awaits at the hotel this evening.

Day 5- Today is the final Alps stage of this year’s Tour, and we’ll view it early on in the day, since
the riders are heading north.  There will be plenty of time for the adventurous to tackle the famous
Col du Galibier and for us to find a local establishment later on to enjoy a few adult beverages
while watching TV and cheering on the day’s winner.  It could be that the eventual winner will have
been decided by the end of today’s race.  Our farewell dinner will be an excellent one tonight.
Day 6- Today ends our Tour de France Alps
adventure and the group will be shuttled to
the Grenoble train station.  For those
returning to Paris, the Tour will end there in
on July 23, so you might want to plan a Paris
visit after our trip in order to catch the finale
on the Champs Elysees as well.  In any
event, we know you will always cherish the
memories of your Alps Tour de France
experience with Beaux Voyages, and we’ll
be looking forward to hosting you on another
of our tours in the future.
"Walt, Linda, and Jay, It was a fabulous time and as memorable as the first trip."
