Day 1- Arrival in Joue les Tours
Take a taxi from the TGV station in Tours
(called the St. Pierre des Corps station-
this is not the downtown train station) to
your lovely hotel.  Receive your tour
information at the hotel and get ready for
an excellent dinner and a fabulous
adventure.

Day 2- Joue les Tours to Monbazon- 58 km
Today you will cycle to the fabulous Chateau
de Villandry which is famous all over Europe
for its fabulous gardens.  You'll start cycling
after the visit and head to Azay le Rideau, one
of the top attractions in the region, surrounded
by water.  We recommend you rent an audio
guide there to get the most out of your visit.  
You'll then head to Montbazon where you will
have a choice between a standard 4 star hotel
and a superiour 4 star hotel (see prices below).
Day 3- Montbazon to Chissay- 42 km
Today you'll be leaving the Indre Valley to reach the
Cher Valley and Chenonceaux, famous for its
Rebaissance chateau spanning the Cher river and
still steeped in memoriesof the famous ladies in
French history: Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de
Medicis.

Chenonceau
Day 4- Chissay to Amboise- 44 km
You'll head out into the coutryside towards Amboise, a
lovely town on the Loire river whose chateau once
was home to some of the most famous kings of
France.  And don't miss the Clos Luce which was the
home of Leonardo Da Vinci during the last 3 years of
his life.  You'll see models of that genius's futuristic
machines and inventions as well as tour in the rooms
he lived in.  Leonardo is buried in the small chapel on
the grounds of the chateau.

Amboise
Day 5- Amboise back to Joue les Tours
Today is your final day of cycling, and you'll pedal through countryside and the vineyards of Montlouis before
discovering the Chateau de la Bourdaisiere, a 14th century castle built by the famous French king Francois
1st.  Back to the hotel for your final excellent dinner on the tour before your departure in the morning after
breakfast.
