Day 1 :
Arrival in Cavaillon
From its romanesque Chapel (12th
century) to its historical narrow streets,
the old city of Cavaillon offers an
original view.   Accommodation in 2*
hotel and dinner in a local restaurant

Day 2 : Cavaillon - Cadenet      40 km
A stage dominated by the variety of
landscapes which will guide you to the
Durance valley with a background of
the beautiful mountains of Aix and the
Alpilles range before reaching Lauris
and its 12th century château, followed
by Cadenet and the ruins of its
troglodyte chateau.

in a local restaurant
Day 3: Cadenet - Vitrolles en
Luberon     35 km
Beautiful trip through a large part of
the south hills of the Lubéron sprinkled
with authentic medieval villages. Do
not forget to visit the villages of
Lourmarin, Vaugines,  Curcuron….
before reaching the small village of
Vitrolles en Lubéron.  Dinner and
accommodation in guest house 3*
Day 4 : Vitrolles en Luberon - Manosque     38 km
A stage via the AOC vineyards of Pierrevert where the museum of wine & vineyards
is situated before cycling to the city of Manosque at the doors of the ‘Alpes de Haute
Provence’ area.  A great natural environment with exceptional architectural history.

Day 5 : Manosque -Forcalquier       30 km
A stage between two important villages of the Haute Provence region, showing a very
different personality which will guide you to the eastern part of this area known as
‘Luberon oriental’: from the Durance valley, known for having been a natural place
for historical migrations to the colourful and perfumed land of
Forcalquier.                                         Dinner and accommodation in 2* hotel

Day 6 : Forcalquier – Aubenas    23 km
Enjoy your hotel and its swimming pool before riding on this short itinerary in the
direction of the Largue valley for a panoramic view over Aubenas les Alpes where
fragrance of distilled lavender is diffused in July and

Day 7 : Aubenas – Apt   39 km
A geographic and cultural transitional ride where you can discover a real contrast in
agriculture with lavander in the mountains and melons in the valley. You will finally
arrive slowly to the ‘small Luberon’ with its perched villages.

Day 8 : Apt – Cavaillon   48 km
A necklace of villages (Lacoste, Menerbes, Oppède le Vieux, etc ..) through the small
Luberon will guide you on your stage. This last itinerary through these villages where
time seems to have stopped will stay in your mind as the symbol of your week in the
Departure at the end of the day. Possibility of extra night in Cavaillon
euros per person, double occupancy
